Greg Heinemann

Clinic Director

Greg graduated from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) with a degree in exercise science and a primary focus in athletic training. Before becoming involved with The Egoscue Method, Greg was on a path to become a certified athletic trainer. But in October 2003, he began working with The Egoscue Method and found everything about it exciting, effective, and logical. His clientele includes young (6 months) and old (95 years old), working professionals, stay-at-home moms, professional athletes (NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA, ATP, triathletes), weekend warriors, politicians, and the everyday Joe.

Janelle Brennan

Exercise Therapist

Janelle holds a certification in AFAA group fitness, Lagree Method and is CPR/AED-certified. She has competed in professional ballroom competitions and placed in the top six for national and local competitions. She also is a certified health coach.

Jon Winawer

Exercise Therapist

Jon graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in exercise science. He first pursued postural alignment therapy through The Egoscue Method as a means to improve performance as an ice hockey goaltender. From there his interest grew, and he eventually brought The Egoscue Method theories to his work as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist. He's worked with clients of all ages and ability levels, including United States Paralympic athletes.

Abigail Hartley

Exercise Therapist

Abigail has been passionate about utilizing exercise as therapy for nearly a decade. She has instinctively held the belief that the key to changing your state is through the proper movement of your body. She began her fitness career working with Post-Partum women who wanted to regain self-confidence and physical well-being after pregnancy. Continuing her path, she became a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Working with clients experiencing pain and limitations of all kinds, Abigail was able to use exercise to help them improve their overall quality of life.

After experiencing The Egoscue Method at a UPW event, Abigail knew she had found The Method that is not only effective but in alignment with her mission to show others how to become pain free, functional, and ultimately reach their greatest human potential.

Kevin D. Harkness

Words cannot express my gratitude for the way Egoscue Westchester has positively affected my life. I hobbled into the clinic with severe back pain and two recommendations for surgery. I had spent three months in excruciating pain trying everything — physical therapy, exercise, chiropractors, deep tissue massages, acupuncture — to eliminate it. Against the advice of family and friends, I decided to try The Egoscue Method. After one year, I have gone from living with chronic pain and a difficult limitation in completing simple daily tasks to doing the physical things I want to do. Among my recent successes: a 5K, 10K, 15K, dualthon, and rock climbing, kayaking, and indoor soccer. Best of all, I am doing these activities pain-free!
