Meet the Team
Egoscue Therapists have one goal in mind—to help you get back to the life you want to live! Let's arrange for a meeting and end your chronic pain.
Amanda holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Vanguard University of Southern California with an emphasis in physical therapy. After five years working in physical therapy offices, she realized no one was getting better and that there had to be more to the healing process. She stumbled across Pain Free and finally it clicked: you cannot just treat the symptom and body part; you need to treat the whole body together as a unit. She became certified through the Egoscue Institute as a Posture Alignment Specialist (PAS) and Accredited Exercise Therapist (AET) and spent years working under and learning from some of the most seasoned therapists at the Egoscue Headquarters in Del Mar, California.
Prior to Egoscue, Brandy graduated with degrees in her two passions, ballet and human services. She pursued a career as a professional ballerina. Brandy’s passions and experience led her to Egoscue. In and out of the clinic, she loves aiding others in the pursuit of their physical dreams without limitations and even integrates her Egoscue knowledge when she is teaching ballet.

Kristyn has embraced a lifelong love of learning. As a teacher for 10 years, Kristyn shared her passion for knowledge and people. She attended Vanguard University of Southern California and pursued a BA and MA in Education. Kristyn is excited to share her love for health and wellness with clients at our Nashville clinic, although, her greatest interest is communicating and empathizing with people, particularly those who are hurting. Her greatest accomplishments are her marriage and two daughters, whom she homeschools.
I was in very bad shape with plans to see a neurosurgeon for more surgery because I could not sit up for more than an hour without serious neck and back pain. Stabbing eye pain eventually caused my peripheral vision to decline in one eye. The pain radiated down my arms into my hands and down my upper back. Suicide was on my mind. All my money had gone to the medical industry over the last 20 years, but the pain worsened every year. Nothing worked... until Egoscue. After 30 hours over a 10-day period, I was able to get out of bed. The eye pain lessened significantly. I could sit up for awhile. I got my life back.
I am an avid outdoorsman. At almost 60 years old, however, my congenital scoliosis finally began to catch up with me. I found that spending hours standing in a fishing boat or hunting blind resulted in low back pain and tension in my neck, shoulders, and hips. I began my menu in March 2010. More than two months later, I went on an annual fishing trip with friends. For the first time in 15 years, I had no soreness or any sort of pain during and after. Being diligent with my menu paid big dividends and taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of regular, intelligent E-cises in taking care of the old body!
After battling back pain for years, The Egoscue Method has changed my life. My therapist is energetic and highly motivational. I live pain free now and don't rely on any pain medicine.
