Tyler holds certifications as a certified personal trainer (CPT) and golf fitness specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, he is a certified fitness professional and medical minor through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). His personal experience of the benefits of The Egoscue Method in restoration of optimal function to his sports-related injuries inspired him to become licensed in The Egoscue Method and open the Dallas clinic.
Anabelle began her career at The Egoscue Method in 2013 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a degree in exercise science/sports medicine. Her interests in sports performance research, exercise physiology and biomechanics, and how they relate to different modalities complements her work at The Egoscue Method.
I had my first cervical discectomy and fusion in March 2015. After giving birth to twins, I had a second spinal fusion in March 2017, but the pain returned. Even more devastating, I was told not to pick up my six-month-old twins. I searched online until I found Egoscue. To my surprise, after my first session I felt better. It was empowering to learn that I could be in control of my pain. I felt good for the first time in a very long time. Egoscue has given me the joy of playing with and holding my babies. I am confident that I can live an active life with my family without the fear of another surgery always haunting me.
You kicked my butt today, but since I got back I've been able to make bread, pizza sauce, and pizza dough, wash a load of clothes, make some lunch, and I still haven't been forced to sit down due to the low back and leg pain. One day at a time. I am an Egoscue disciple!
This afternoon I had my appointment with NSA (network spinal analysis). I did what Tyler suggested: step on the separate scales and then perform the windmill, arm circles, and another standing shoulder exercise. The result? Before the exercises I was 25 pounds heavier on the left leg versus the right. After? Equal weight!
