Kitty Esposto, MS, Clinic Owner/Therapist kitty@egoscue.com
With a bachelor’s degree in gerontology and a master’s in wellness, I was a health educator with the City of Sacramento for nearly 10 years prior to finding Egoscue and learning about the Method as a client. Both my professional emphasis and personal focus has been exercise for health maintenance and life satisfaction, and Egoscue quickly demonstrated itself as the most effective, adaptable form of exercise for treatment of pain and functional limitations I have encountered, applicable to all ages and fitness levels. I am pleased to bring the Egoscue Method to Sacramento, to make the Method that helped me get pain-free available to others wanting to do the same and willing to work with me to achieve their goals.
Scott Moyer, BSET from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Clinic Director scott@egoscue.com Why I do Egoscue:
For many years I experienced periodic back and neck pain flare-ups following car accidents and demanding physical activities. Eventually the pain progressed from occasional flare-ups to daily severe chronic neck pain which eventually ended my career as a business professional. During this long period of progressive deterioration, I saw chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, kinesiologists, acupuncturists, medical pain management specialists and neurosurgeons to utilize all known modalities of treatment to relieve my pain and keep me going, but I just continued to get progressively worse until I was eventually referred to the Egoscue Method. At Egoscue I discovered that my neck pain was merely a symptom of underlying muscular imbalances in my hips that lead to instability and dysfunction in my spine. The Egoscue Method showed me how to restore muscular balance and structural design function to my body and fix the underlying cause of my pain. After experiencing the power of the Egoscue Method, I became certified as a postural alignment specialist so I can assist others in regaining their lives, free of pain and limitations.
Bryan C. Werner, MD, MPH, Therapist bwerner@egoscue.com
I have been a client of the Egoscue Method since the early 1990's. After injuring my leg when I was hit by a car while bike riding, I endured 11 surgeries to try and repair my leg before regaining my health and function working with Pete Egoscue and utilizing the Egoscue Method. I went on to finish my football career at Stanford University, complete my medical degree at the University of North Carolina, and am currently a fourth year Resident in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department at UC Davis Medical Center. Having experienced the innovative and highly effective treatment program of the Egoscue Method to restore my own health, I decided to learn the Method and incorporate it into my practice. My goals are to help my patients regain and maintain their health. I am excited to be part of the Egoscue Sacramento Clinic staff and look forward to working with you.
