Betty Porter, Therapist betty@egoscue.com
Betty is a graduate of Michigan State University and Wayne State University and has many years experience as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Her interest in movement and breathing techniques moved from Swedish gymnastics to Yoga Therapy to the Egoscue Method. Betty found her way to the Egoscue Method after spending the day with Petes book. She was on her back on the floor after tweaking her back once again on the tennis court. It was getting embarrassing not being able to lead postures in her classes due to her own back pain. After finding benefit from the ecises she started sharing them with her Yoga students who also noted improvement from their pain and limitations. Betty started the Fort Collins/Boulder clinic in 2003. Betty's passion is helping people become successful in overcoming their limitations.
Susan Curtis, Therapist susan@egoscue.com
Susan is originally from the Pacific Northwest and has a background in science and teaching.
After becoming certified in the Egoscue Method, Susan had the honor to be the third therapist to attend the Residency Program at the Egoscue Headquarters in San Diego.
Susan came to Egoscue originally as a client after being resigned to living a life with constant limitations and never being able to return to a fully functioning lifestyle free from pain. However, since doing the Egoscue Method, Susan has been able to return to the various daily activities and sports she thought she'd never be able to do again and she even gets excited that she is now physically able to do tedious tasks such as unload a 24 foot U-HAUL truck! Susan is eager to help others in their journey to getting functional and living life without limitations.
