Tracey Cannon, Clinic Director tracey@egoscue.com Education: BA in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1991 and BS in Nursing from Regis University in 1995.
Personal: Growing up I lived all over the country but I’ve been in Colorado since 1989 and I love it here.
I enjoy skiing, camping, swimming and most of all spending time with my three boys. Before becoming an Egoscue therapist I was an Oncology Nurse and I spent a few years being a stay at home mom.
Egoscue: I was a client of The Egoscue Method before I became a therapist. After struggling with sciatica and back pain for 13 years my dad found out about The Egoscue Method and signed me up for the Denver travel clinic. I was skeptical but after my first visit my sciatica was gone. Another 4 or 5 menus and my back pain was gone. I have been pain free for over two years and my quality of life is better than it has ever been. I’m able to play, wrestle and pick up my kids without pain and that means everything to me. I was so impressed with The Method I decided to become a therapist in 2003. I have been with the Denver clinic since it opened and I love my job.
Oleta Nelson, Egoscue Therapist oleta@egoscue.com
Education: BS in Health and Human Performance from Iowa State University May of 2007.
Personal: I was born and raised in Muscatine Iowa on a small farm near the Mississippi River. Dreading the Iowa winters and humid summers, I came to Colorado with my husband December of 2006. I’ve come to realize, no matter where you go, you can’t predict the weather and was snowed in for the first several weeks of winter.
Egoscue: After I graduated from ISU, I began the search for my first real job. I always knew what I wanted to do with my degree from being sickly as a child. Theodore Roosevelt inspired me to exercise and push through the pain. He too was sick growing up and began pushing his limits by running home from school every day. Once I received my driver’s license, I began to go to the gym daily. I continued to feel better and proved that exercise and movement can do amazing things. After a couple of years of pushing my body, I was off all medications, went sledding for the first time, and began living. When I was choosing my major, I knew I had to share what I learned through the power of exercise. Working at Egoscue, I can do this.
